This year, the «Swiss Symposium Thermal Energy Storage» once again offered an ideal platform to exchange knowledge and experience in thermal energy storage. The goal of the SSTES is to create a lively dialog between representatives from industry and research in the energy, industry and building technology sectors. The symposium is aimed at everyone who sees the potential in thermal energy storage systems or would like to gain an in-depth insight into the technological possibilities associated with it.
In the eighth edition of the symposium, experts and specialists gave insights into the development of thermal energy storage and reflected on an important period of Swiss energy research, which was driven by the «Swiss Competence Centers for Energy Research (SCCER)» funding and networks. The event gave room for both reflection and envisioning ways towards a sustainable energy future.
